— Christian Education and Outreach —
The Christian Education and Outreach ministry at Willingboro Christian Assembly encompasses children’s church and bible study for adults, teens, children of all ages, as well as Vacation Bible School. The Christian Education and Outreach committee is responsible for recruiting, training and supporting of Sunday School teachers in addition to coordinating with our the Children's Church leaders.
The mission of the WCA Sunday School is to reach, teach and lead children to a saving knowledge of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. Our ultimate goal is to make our knowledge of the love and sacrifice of Jesus Christ a lasting foundational element of the children’s everyday lives.
“Train a child in the way he should go, and when he is old he will not turn from it.” Proverbs 22:6
The Children’s Church ministry of WCA exists to set the hearts and minds of parents at ease so that they can effectively receive ministry from the Word through the Holy Spirit as their precious gifts from God, their children, are lovingly protected, nurtured and taught the Word of God. Their desire is to lay a Bible-based spiritual foundation that will cause children experience a personal relationship with Jesus Christ and a life long dedication to His service. In Children’s Church, there is a desire to instill those basic Biblical building blocks which will lead children to a personal relationship with Jesus Christ, equipping them with a firm knowledge of His Word.
Teen & Adult Bible Study
The teen and adult Bible study ministry at WCA functions to effectively bring to life relevant biblical principles as they are presented in God's Word. The ministry seeks to glorify God through biblically educating and equipping the congregation for service and leadership in their ministries and communities.
The annual VacationBibleSchool ministry at WCA offers an unforgettable learning experience for children that is biblically accurate and fun. Each year the theme is different and takes children off to many far-away lands and sometimes familiar places but always from a biblical perspective. Children meet Jesus in a way that they have never met Him before and come to experience His presence in an exciting way.
